Use the Pack feature to simplify file transfer; for example, to send exported files to another location. The Pack feature combines all of the files associated with an export into a single file that can be sent in email or transferred to an FTP site. Then, use the Unpack feature to separate the files after they have been packed.
All pack files contain non-ASCII characters, so use binary mode when transferring them using FTP.
