  1. To create a new Teradata Warehouse Miner Data Mining project, do one of the following:
    • Click the Add New Project icon on the toolbar.
    • Select File > Add New Project.

    This creates a new Data Mining Project that contains any created Analyses available within the product.

    You can rename the project using one of the following options:
    • Highlight and the project name and single-click.
    • Right-click the project name and selecting the Rename option.

    A text box appears with the project name highlighted much like a standard rename through Windows Explorer.

  2. To open a previously saved Teradata Warehouse Miner Data Mining project, do one of the following:
    • Click on the Add Existing Project icon on the toolbar.
    • Select File > Add Existing Project .

    This brings up a dialog similar to the Metadata Maintenance dialog with a simplified set of option buttons. Selecting the desired projects to open and clicking OK will add them to the Project Explorer window. However, if the Save to Local Files option is checked on the Connection Properties dialog, a file dialog is displayed instead of the Metadata Maintenance dialog, from which the desired project or projects can be selected and displayed in the Project Explorer window.
