The Teradata Integrated Big Data Platform 1800 is an optimized, fully-integrated data warehouse solution designed for decision-support workloads that typically require fast data scans and heavy analytics.
The 1800 platform can scale to:
- 36 nodes using in-cabinet BYNET V5 switches
- 108 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
- 324 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
- 648 nodes using external BYNET V5 cabinets
- 1024 nodes using external cascaded 648-port BYNET V5 cabinets
The platform is offered with the following software:
- Teradata Database 15.0x or later
- Teradata Tools and Utilities 15.0
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (SLES 11)
