Purpose

The list_consumers command sends a request to ActiveMQ to provide information about all of the consumers of DSA Network Client and DSMain processes. It checks whether the selector values match the names of the DSA Network Client and DSMain systems and that the processes are running.

Syntax

list_consumers -n|-name System1 -t|-type SYSTEM

Example

list_consumers -n System1 -t SYSTEM

Parameters

n|name Name
[Optional] The name of the BAR component. The name must be unique. If the system name begins with the special character -, for example -test , for system type use the Enter the System Name prompt.
System1
t|type Type
[Optional] The type of BAR component. Enter system or media_server.
SYSTEM

Usage Notes

After configuring a system using the config_systems command, you may want to run the list_consumers command to validate that the selector values match the DSMain system names and that the processes are running.

After a media server configuration and restart or an auto-discovery of a media server, you may want to run the list_consumers command to validate that the selector value matches the DSA Network Client system name and that the consumer processes are running.
