Set Up E-mail Notifications
When creating a scheduled request, end-users can specify an e-mail address where Teradata QS will send a notification message when a request has completed its execution, successfully or unsuccessfully.
Users specify their e-mail addresses in the Teradata Query Scheduler Submit Requests dialog box. For more information, refer to the Teradata Query Scheduler User Guide (B035‑2512).
Because Teradata QS 15.00 uses Teradata Viewpoint to generate e-mail notifications, Teradata Viewpoint must first be installed and configured. See Teradata Viewpoint documentation for more information.
