The Gateway Global utility DISPLAY SESSION command has been enhanced to support passing ranges and lists of sessions for which to display session information. It also supports a new USER argument that displays session information for all current sessions of a specified user account.
The DISPLAY STATS command has been enhanced to support a new USER argument that displays statistics for all current sessions of a specified user, and optionally allows automatically rerunning the report at specified intervals a specified number of times.
Benefits
- Simplifies obtaining and comparing session information that would otherwise have required the issuance of several gtwglobal commands in succession.
- Increased flexibility in session and statistics reporting by allowing reporting on all sessions in use by a specified user.
- Easily compare session and statistical information at specified time intervals automatically with a single gtwglobal command. This allows easy observation of changes in the statistics with time, to help determine whether a session is stuck or merely running slowly.
