Teradata SET saves essential system information in specific file types based on the export options chosen. When system information is imported to the test system, it is automatically loaded in the correct format.
Teradata SET also synchronizes all of the elements of a target environment. For example, all the configuration settings, databases, data models, and data dependencies maintain the correct relationships when exported and imported.
In addition, database objects are duplicated on the test system. Tables, views, macros, triggers, join indexes, and stored procedures function just like they do on the target system.
