Service User

If your site is connected using Teradata ServiceConnect, the comments are also added to the service incident if one was generated.
  1. In the Java Client, click Summary Alerts.
  2. In the Summary Alert Viewer, select a summary alert, then select Functions > Add Comment > .
  3. Type your Author identifier.
  4. [Optional] Select Include work time and enter the amount of time you worked on the incident, providing the site is connected using ServiceConnect.
  5. After you submit the Comment, you can view it in the service incident if one was generated, providing the site is connected using ServiceConnect.
  6. [Optional] Select Allow customer to view comment in incident when an incident is generated, providing the site is connected using ServiceConnect.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Click Ok.
  9. [Optional] In the Summary Alert Viewer, click to view or delete the comment you added. Deleting comments only deletes them from the local system and does not update the service incident.
