The following has changed in CMIC 13:

Version Upgrades to CMIC 13

Upgrade from CMIC 12 to 13 only. CMIC 11 must be migrated to CMIC 12 first.

  • All bare metal CMICs including Eagle (note EagleU1U VMS retained)
  • CMIC Eagle
  • Node Eagle
  • CMIC XVM
  • Node XVM
  • Bynet V4
  • Disk Array XBB2
  • TAPELIB SL500
  • Database SAS

Managing Users

  • Due to changes in how the data is stored and distributed, no users and groups will be migrated to CMIC 13. Custom user roles are no longer supported. For information on the built-in available user roles and their permissions, see: User Roles
  • Since CMIC 13 presents new user roles, the saved credentials in the Server Management Administrator portlet may need to be updated to use the new credentials
