Rule for Queue Tables and MERGE The following restrictions apply to specifying queue tables in a MERGE request: You cannot specify a MERGE statement in a multistatement request that contains a SELECT AND CONSUME request for the same queue table. You cannot specify a SELECT AND CONSUME request as the subquery in the USING clause of a MERGE request.
