  1. Go to https://support.teradata.com.
  2. Log on.
  3. Select Update Software, then Database and Applications tab.
  4. Select Teradata Applications , then select Unity Ecosystem Manager.
  5. Download the latest Ecosystem Manager on VMware .ova file to a server in a particular folder (for example, ovatemplate-download).
    For example, the filename looks similar to TERADATA_EM_16.20.XX.XX_SLES11_SP3_ON_VMWARE.OVA. The .ova file, which contains the template, is large (5GB) and may take time to download.
