The following topics describe the functions required from an Access Module and the supporting data structures for those functions. This information is necessary for writing an Access Module to support an I/O subsystem that is not currently supported by Teradata, such as a module to access a CD/ROM burner or an automated satellite up/downlink.
All of the program examples and descriptions use the C programming language.
