-
For automatic in-doubt resolution for Two-phase commit processing, configure the CICS system to be able to do a warm start.
-
Delete or comment out the Teradata Director Program command, DISABLE IRF, in the TDPPARM data set.
This is described in TDPPARM Settings for Two-Phase Commit Processing. After the DISABLE IRF command is eliminated, the two TDP-internal sessions necessary for Two-phase commit processing are logged on automatically upon TDP startup.
-
Authorize CICS to Teradata Director Program in the TDPPARM data set.
-
Create new entries in the TDPPARM data set for each CICS system that uses Two-phase commit protocol.
The entries, which authorize each CICS system to Teradata Director Program, have the following form:
AUTHORIZ cicsjob RESOLVE
where cicsjob specifies the jobname for the CICS system.
