Notification of errors may not occur immediately after a node failure. When nodes fail, the associated licenses are automatically removed from the nodes and new licenses are automatically assigned to the new nodes. If you suspect a node has failed, Teradata strongly suggests you monitor the AWS CloudWatch log (look for log group Teradata/DBS/stack-name and log stream telm_stack-name ).
