The DBCAREA extensions allow the application to provide information to a CLIv2 function that is not general enough to be defined within the DBCAREA.

Three DBCAREA extensions are available:

  • DBCALAD (LOB-aggregate-data)
  • DBCAIRX (DBCHCL Initiate-request function extension)
  • DBCACNX (DBCHCL Connect function extension)
