All drives in a 6800C system are HDDs.
The following coexistence configurations are supported for a 6800C 2+1 clique with HDDs:

Guidelines differ depending on whether the configuration is a variable configuration.
For a 6800C 2+1 clique with four disk arrays, coexisting with a 6700C system, the following guidelines apply:
- Two Teradata Database nodes plus one hot standby node to four disk arrays (2:4 ratio)
- 42 AMPs per node
- 168 drives per node (no mixed drive types or sizes in each disk array)
- 84 drives per array
For a 6800C 2+1 clique with four disk arrays, coexisting with a 6700C system, and using a variable configuration, the following guidelines apply:
- Two Teradata Database nodes plus one hot standby node to four disk arrays (2:4 ratio)
- Up to 46 AMPs per node
- Up to 184 drives per node (no mixed drive types or sizes in each disk array)
- Up to 92 drives per array in 4 arrays
