Before deploying any Teradata VM in a single-server environment, you must:
- Install the vSphere kit, which includes an operational vCenter Server.
- Change locale to US-EN.
Other tasks you can do in vSphere:
- Find out what browsers are supported.
- Designate only certain users to administer a Teradata VM host server in a shared virtual environment.
Installation and configuration of all VMware software is the responsibility of your VMware administrator. Teradata cannot support your VMware environment. Contact VMware support if you require more information.
