Versioning
The Teradata MDS repository can retain historical information about objects stored in the repository. This historical information tracks the changes made to metadata objects over time. Using Teradata MDS, a user can view the different states of the object, and the specific differences can be displayed. Retaining the historical information requires the Teradata MDS repository to be running as a versioned repository.
