Teradata Database System
When the MDS DDL Gateway is down, the Teradata Database System will process DDL statements but will write the names of all “Affected” databases to the MDS Recovery Table. There is one MDS Recovery Table per Teradata Database System. When the MDS DDL Gateway Server comes up, if the Recovery on Startup flag is checked, it will read the MDS Recovery Table and resynchronize the repository for each database name listed in the table.
