The CACertFile property specifies the name of the certificate file, or a file made up of a concatenated set of certificates, which is used in validating the connection between Unity and a Vantage system. The Unity file contains certificates for connected database systems, and the database file contains the certificates for connected Unity servers. Editing Guidelines

  • Edit this property on Unity and connected database nodes. For an example, see Coordinating Mechanism Property Values for Unity.

    On a Unity server, the specified file contains the certificates for all connected Vantage systems. On a Vantage system, the file contains certificates for all Unity servers to which the database connects

  • To set a value, copy the PROXY mechanism from the TdgssLibraryConfigFile.xml and add it to the TDGSS configuration file. See Editing Configuration Files.
  • You can instead use the CACertDir property to locate the certificate files.
