SLOB Data - Teradata Tools and Utilities

Purpose

This parcel is never required, and it is unlikely that any application will find it useful.

Provides data for a LOB. All such parcels for one LOB are bracketed by one SLOB DataStart and one SLOB DataEnd parcel.

For requests, one of these parcels, bracketed by one SLOB DataStart and one SLOB DataEnd parcel, is placed before the EndMultipartData or EndMultipartIndicData parcel; that is, these parcels are associated with the SQL USING data descriptor.

For responses, one or more of these parcels, bracketed by one SLOB DataStart and one SLOB DataEnd parcel, is returned before the EndMultipartRecord parcel when the request contained the SLOB Response parcel. If the size of all data exceeds the size remaining in a response buffer, the data will continue in the next response buffer in another SLOB data parcel.
