After Terminating a Teradata MultiLoad Job - MultiLoad

After terminating a Teradata MultiLoad job, either:

• Restart the job and allow it to run to completion.

  or

• Reinitialize and restore access to the target tables.

The conditions and procedures for performing these tasks depend on whether the job terminated during the application phase and whether to restart and continue or abandon the job.

• If the Teradata MultiLoad job terminated before or after the application phase, then to restart and continue the job, use the Restarting After a Job Abort or Client System Failure procedure in Restarting a Paused Teradata MultiLoad Job.
• If the Teradata MultiLoad job terminated during the application phase, then restart the job and let it run to completion. Use the Restarting After a Job Abort or Client System Failure procedure in Restarting a Paused Teradata MultiLoad Job.
