Purpose

Causes TDP to produce a message when a session satisfied from a session pool ends.

Usage Notes

When TDP is started, POOL STATUS is disabled. To subsequently enable POOL STATUS, use the ENABLE POOL STATUS command. The current setting can be displayed using the DISPLAY TDP command. POOL STATUS can be disabled using the DISABLE POOL STATUS command.

If POOL STATUS is enabled, the following type of message is produced when a new session is satisfied from a session pool:

TDP0802 POOL name, nn AVAILABLE: SESSION nn, JOB name STARTED

and the following type of message is produced when a session using a session pool ends:

TDP0803 POOL name, nn AVAILABLE: SESSION nn, JOB name STARTED
