The tdpid is the Teradata Director Program ID associated with a particular Teradata server. Every server is assigned a unique tdpid. If the user does not specify a tdpid and are logging on for the first time, BTEQ logs on to the default tdpid. If the user has already logged on, BTEQ logs on to the current tdpid.
