Use the following advanced elements of the LOGON command to specify the non-default authentication mechanism such as LDAP or SSO:
External authentication allows network-attached users to be authenticated by an external agent rather than by a Teradata Database. The Teradata Database must be properly configured to support external authentication and a mechanism that supports it must be selected. Mainframe-attached users cannot use external authentication.
