File Types - Basic Teradata Query

BTEQ uses three types of input files and three types of output files:

Input Files	Output Files
Standard Input	Standard Output
Import File	Export File
Run File	Standard Error Output

Use the appropriate BTEQ commands or file specifications, as described in the following subsections, to specify input and output files.
