The Dell R730 chassis has seven adapter slots, three low-profile slots (1-3) and four full-height slots (4-7). TMS Data Mover Model 8-41 has:
- One optional Mellanox ConnectX-3 BYNET/InfiniBand adapter installed in slot 5.
- Three mandatory Ethernet adapters of the same type and up to three additional optional Ethernet adapters of any type installed in adapter order I350-T4, X540-T2, X520-DA2, X520-SR2 and slot order 6, 7, 1, 4, 3, 2.
