Verifying the Order - Aster Appliances

1. When the equipment is received at the customer's site or staging location, unbox, inspect and inventory all system components prior to installation.
2. Inspect the system for damage and verify the box contents against the packing list and customer order.
3. After the customer has unpacked the equipment, record the serial numbers of each hardware unit and the release numbers of each software package in the system's Server Support Log.
4. Determine if the system has any outstanding mission critical problems, and resolve critical issues before continuing.
