  1. Start the Aster instance.
    1. If the Hadoop cluster is Kerberos-enabled, issue these commands to obtain a Kerberos ticket: cdh220e1:/data/rpm # su - beehive beehive@cdh220e1:~> kinit -k -t /home/beehive/.keytab/beehive.keytab beehive
    2. To start the Aster instance, issue this command on the queen node as the root user: ncli system softstartup

      If the instance is not responsive after issuing this command, there may be a service port conflict. To resolve a service port conflict, see Resolve Service Port Conflicts.
