Save Considerations

A Teradata crashdump table cannot be automatically saved if:

The ctl Save Dumps setting is off.

An AMP is down and FALLBACK is not defined for Crashdumps database

The Teradata Database system is not up

There is not enough space

You can, however, manually save crashdumps using the CSP utility. For more information, see “Manually Saving Teradata Crashdumps” on page 564.
