Teradata Director Program for Mainframe-Attached Clients
The mainframe interface enables communication between a mainframe client and Teradata Database. Teradata Director Program establishes a session with the associated PE and manages communications between the client and Teradata Database. When a user or application submits an SQL request, the TDP transfers it to Teradata Database, receives the response, and transfers the response to the application.
