BTEQ supports a maximum of 200 sessions. Specify the number of sessions in a set by entering the SESSIONS command prior to the LOGON command. The default number of sessions is 1. (For more information, see SESSIONS.)

  1. At the BTEQ prompt:
    Teradata BTEQ  <version>  for  <OS>. Enter your logon or BTEQ command.

    enter:

    .SET SESSIONS n

    where n is the number of sessions.
