Before deploying Teradata software in the public cloud, you must purchase a software bundle or individual products, and then select a purchase method.
You must subscribe to each Teradata software product on the AWS Marketplace before you can deploy it, regardless of purchasing method, packaging option, or license tier.

- Teradata IntelliSphere: A software bundle that includes Teradata Database and some Teradata software products. Many products not included in Teradata IntelliSphere can be purchased separately.
- Individual purchase: Most software products are available for purchase separately.
- Purchase Methods

- Bring your own license (BYOL): Purchase software licenses directly from Teradata, then use those licenses in the public cloud. Available for Teradata Database or Teradata IntelliSphere. Not available for individual purchase of products other than Teradata Database.
- Hourly: Pay to use the software by the hour, charged to your Teradata software subscription on AWS. Available for Teradata IntelliSphere and for any individually purchased product.
