Teradata QueryGrid connectors allow query processing across data sources, such as Advanced SQL Engine and ML Engine.
Connectors do the following:
- Translate query request language and transform data so that systems of different types can exchange it.
- Control the execution of queries on target systems and return the results to initiating systems.
- Run on one or more nodes in a system, and are specific to the system type (for example, Teradata).
Optional properties allow configuration refinement of each connector type.
