Use the Z-Score transformation to rescale numeric columns to the Z-scores based on the mean value and standard deviation of the column values. Each column value transforms into the number of standard deviations from the mean value of the column, using this formula:
These nonlinear transformations are more useful in data mining than a linear Rescale transformation.
You can apply the Z-Score transformation to columns of any numeric type, including date types.
