- From the designated-active or standby daemon server, run the dmcluster status command to verify the failover cluster status.
- Using the dmcluster status output, confirm that all active components have started before starting the monitoring service.
- On the current active monitoring server, based on the cluster status, run dmcluster startmonitor.If the Data Mover cluster is in standby mode, a failover has been initiated. After failover, you can only restart services on the designated-standby monitor server.
