The synchronization service starts automatically after the service is successfully configured.
Use the following steps on the active server to manually start the service if necessary.
- From the active server, go to cd /opt/teradata/datamover/sync/nn.nn.Where nn.nn in the path refers to the version numbers of Data Mover.
- Run ./dmsync startmonitor to start the synchronization monitoring service.
