Before you scale out, you may need to increase Amazon EC2 service limits. Using the AWS EC2 Console, increase limits to avoid errors when you scale out.
- From the EC2 VPC Console, select to ensure the Vantage subnet has a sufficient amount of available IPs.Each of the following resource referenced here has a default limit. See Amazon User Guide for Linux Instances.

Increasing whichever resources apply to your system ensures the subnet has a sufficient amount of available IPs.AWS EBS Limits Number of EBS volumes AWS VPC Limits - Network interfaces per region
- Elastic IP addresses per region
- Submit a request to increase Amazon limits.
