A Teradata software ecosystem allows you to deploy multiple Teradata software products simultaneously on AWS. It controls which applications are deployed and configured together depending on the template you choose.
Vantage license tiers determine system concurrency and node limits, supported instance types, available Vantage features, and supported software products. Before deploying a Teradata software ecosystem, you must decide which ecosystem and license tier to deploy.
You cannot add or remove software products from a Teradata software ecosystem. If the Teradata software ecosystem does not include the software products you want, you can deploy those products separately, which may require additional configuration after deploying.
