  1. Enter the new password at the prompt.
    For example: Enter new password: password
    The system does not display the password as it is being entered.
  2. Enter the new password again to validate it.
    If both entries are identical, and the logon is successful, BTEQ displays the following message:
    * * * Logon successfully completed.
* * * Total elapsed time was 1 minutes and 13 seconds

    If both entries are not identical, BTEQ displays the following message and repeats the prompt for a new password:

    Password not matched, please try again!
