The EXIT command ends any current database user sessions and exits BTEQ. The BTEQ EXIT and QUIT commands are identical. The LOGOFF command does not have to be used prior to using EXIT or QUIT.
Users might find it convenient to use the EXIT command to signify a normal ending, and use the QUIT command to signify an abnormal ending.
