When BTEQWIN is first started, it prompts you for the session charset to use, as shown in the following figure.
Only the four most-used character sets are supported. BTEQWIN does not support other charsets because the Unicode character sets can display the characters of most modern languages.
The BTEQWIN user interface consists of a standard application window.
The following functions can be performed from the BTEQWIN Main Window:

All input and output are displayed in the window. The command line, identified by a blinking cursor, is always the line that follows the last command prompt.
