The CLI stub consists of minimum-function routines that are link-edited with an application program to access the CLI runtime code.
The CLI stub has multiple entry points, all of which have the same names as CLI routines used in batch mode. The stub routine locates the corresponding CLI runtime module and then invokes the routine using branch entry.
