Run a link bandwidth test to test the bandwidth between all the nodes of initiating and target systems, based on the communication policy that is associated with the link. This test reports an average byte rate between systems and helps to identify bottlenecks.
The minimum required properties for running a link bandwidth test are the port number and hostname of the target connector.
  1. Under Fabric Configuration, select Fabrics.
  2. On the Links tab, select "" next to the applicable link and select Bandwidth Test.
  3. To test the link, select one of the following:
    • Active
    • Pending
  4. Depending on the direction of the link data flow you want to test, select one of the following:
    • Initiating to target
    • Target to initiating
  5. Set the bandwidth for transferring data between nodes.
    The default is 100 MB.
  6. Select Run.
The test results display in the Link Bandwidth Test window.

For more information, see Link Bandwidth Test Metrics.
