When you install the QueryGrid Manager, a default data center is created based on the hostname TMS, server, or VM. You can rename the default or create a new one. The purpose of defining a data center (or region) is because data source nodes prefer to communicate with QueryGrid Managers that share the same data center.
- Under Fabric Components, select Data Centers.
- Select
next to Data Centers. - Enter a name, up to 256 characters.
- Enter a description, up to 1,000 characters.
- Select Save.
