While all data source nodes require connectivity to QueryGrid Manager, there are some on-premises environments where QueryGrid Manager is on the customer LAN, but not all data source nodes have connectivity. In this case, using a proxy allows the nodes without CLAN access to connect to QueryGrid Manager through the nodes that do have access. You can enable proxy support when creating the system. You must install the nodes that have connectivity to QueryGrid Manager first and then repeat the process for the nodes that do not have direct access.
Using private server management networks to connect to QueryGrid Manager is not supported.
