QueryGrid Manager supports rolling zero-downtime upgrades.

Upgrade QueryGrid Manager when a new version becomes available. You must upgrade QueryGrid Managers one at a time, and wait for each manager to come online before continuing with the next upgrade.

QueryGrid version 3.08 and later requires Java 17 to run. Update the Java setting in setenv.sh if it points to Java 8 or 11.
  1. Download the latest QueryGrid Manager software package.
  2. Copy the package to the target system.
  3. From a console window, run the following command to upgrade the manager:
    rpm -Uvh tdqg-manager-version.rpm
    After approximately 1 minute, open https://<hostname>:9443.
  4. For access issues, review the log at /var/opt/teradata/tdqgm/logs.
