Usage Notes
Message Area Length is a 2-byte field that is the length of the area pointed to by the Message Area Pointer field.
The value is equivalent to the maximum length of a message that can be returned in that area.
CLI does not alter this value, so after it is set, it remains unless changed by the application.

If the Message Area Pointer is not specified, this value is ignored.
