Response parcels are screened by CLI before the application receives them. If a problem develops and CLI is able to resolve it, the application may not see an error returned by the database.
For example, if CLI screens an Error parcel which indicates that the response buffer is too small, CLI will automatically expand the buffer and request that portion of the buffer again. The application program will not know that the error existed and that it was resolved by CLI.
