When a request is made by a lab user or read-only user, the lab group owner or lab owners who have been granted approval authority can deny the request.
After a request is denied, users can click , located next to the status in the Request Details on the Requests tab, to review the reason for the denial. If a reason for the denial was not provided by the lab group owner or lab owners, the
icon does not appear next to the status.
- Click the Approvals tab.
- Click the request to see the Request Details pane.
- Click Deny.
- In the Deny Request dialog box, type a reason for the denial, up to 500 characters.
- Click Submit.
- Click the Requests tab to verify that the Status column displays Denied for the request.
